Michael Byington founded Byington Group in 2007, and has over 30 years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance, permitting, auditing and project management with public and private industry clients in 44 states, 3 Canadian provinces, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. His direct experience managing environmental regulatory compliance includes several major fixed-based operator (FBO) facilities at the Dallas Love Field Airport, along with Federal Installations, Major Food Processors, and Fortune 100 private facilities throughout Texas and the DFW Metroplex.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Texas A&M University, where he also pursued Master of Business Administration graduate studies. He is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA), and Class A and B UST Facility Operator. Previous certifications include Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Visible Emissions Evaluation Certification, and Certified Asbestos Inspector.
Mr. Byington is a member of the Auditing Roundtable (Co-chairman, South Central Region) and holds a Level 5 Federal Security Clearance and U.S. Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Clearance.

Sheri is a licensed Professional Geoscientist and principal consultant with Parker Leigh Environmental LLC. She contributes 25 years of geoscience experience, field work, and project management as an environmental consultant to Byington Group’s projects. Her expertise ranges from Phase I ESAs, compliance audits, surface and subsurface investigation, and soil and groundwater remediation and removal actions at UST, Dry Cleaner, VCP and Superfund Sites.
She has considerable experience with the USEPA, TCEQ, and LDEQ, and currently participates in the TCEQ Small Business and Local Government Assistance Program as an EnviroMentor, helping small businesses and local governments comply with state environmental regulations.
David Bull is a member of the Byington Group as a dedicated health and safety professional with over 35-years of experience with large and small industrial and manufacturing federal and private clients. His experience as a police officer, medic, safety officer, hazmat technician, and incident commander in the environmental, health and safety profession has included emergency planning and emergency response, firefighting, and emergency response at worksites, cities, counties, and statewide disasters. Bull consistently delivers results that are consistent, reliable, and have proven invaluable in achieving compliance while working toward continuous improvement.
Gary has been a member of the Byington Group since 2003 as a dedicated professional with over 35-years of experience in multi-media environmental compliance profession for large industrial and manufacturing federal and private corporations in 44 states, three Canadian provinces, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. His primary areas of experience have included EH&S management systems assessments and audits, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems registration audits, environmental due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions, environmental compliance audits, environmental liability risk assessments, verification/attestation of Corporate Environmental Reports, GHG verification audits, environmental insurance claims investigations, environmental insurance claims project management, technical support to financial statement audits, training, and a variety of environmental management consulting projects.
